The two-bedroom suite
At Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach I stayed in the Two Bedroom Suite with one king bed, one queen bed and a Gulf sunset view. At about 1,200 square feet, it had a kitchen and two full bathrooms, which made a longer visit genuinely easy to manage. The balcony gave me a reason to be back in the room for sunset instead of treating it as somewhere to leave my bags.
Quiet & beach
My suite was super quiet, even though the hotel sits in a lively beach town. Crossing the road to get to the sand was not a problem at all; it was a short part of the day, not a drawback that changed the holiday. Having separate bedrooms and a proper living area made staying inside pleasant when I wanted a break from the beach.
Coffee & practical details
Coffee downstairs and something from the suite kitchen got the day started before heading out with fresh beach towels. The laundry facilities were useful over several days, and the pool deck gave me another place to sit between beach outings. Dinner did not have to be at the hotel every night because other restaurants were an easy walk away.
Would I return?
I would pick that two-bedroom Gulf sunset suite again for its room to spread out, quiet and view. The beach-road crossing never bothered me; the actual room felt peaceful, and Clearwater's restaurants and shore were close whenever I wanted them.
